About APFA
The Arkansas Plant Food Association (APFA) was founded in 1955 as the Arkansas Plant Food Education Society and has a long history of serving Arkansas agriculture. Today, APFA is a nonprofit organization dedicated to advancing responsible plant nutrition practices through education, collaboration, and industry leadership.
APFA works statewide to keep members informed, support agricultural programs, and partner with agricultural agencies—particularly the University of Arkansas Division of Agriculture—to promote the effective, sustainable use of plant nutrition and lime. Through these efforts, APFA helps strengthen crop production, protect natural resources, and support long-term farm profitability.
